A desert-adapted landrace from the Balochistan region spanning southwestern Pakistan and southeastern Iran, where it grows in extreme arid conditions. The plants have adapted with deep root systems and smaller, thickly resin-coated buds that protect against the dry climate. The aroma is earthy and spicy with a unique mineral quality reflecting the rocky desert soil.
